Story
The story takes place during the later part of the second age just before the calamity. Rain was not introduced yet, the plants are watered by the underground currents & the morning mist.
There is a ice firmament in the atmosphere that traps and compresses the air density. This allows all living creatures to perform better and grow much larger.
Eden still exist with a cherabum guarding the entrance.
All men speak one language.
